Shipping Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Shipping Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the shipment of packages, documents, and freight through AZL Courier, a division of AZLOGISTIX, INC. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our shipping services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description

AZL Courier provides local, regional, domestic, and international shipping services for packages, documents, and freight. Our services include, but are not limited to, same-day delivery, next-day delivery, standard shipping, express shipping, and specialized services for medical deliveries, commercial deliveries, and replacement parts.

3. Shipping Rates and Payment

Shipping rates are determined based on the origin, destination, weight, dimensions, service level, and any additional services requested. Rates are subject to change without notice. Payment for shipping services is due at the time of booking unless you have established a business account with approved credit terms.

4. Package Requirements

All packages must be properly packaged to protect the contents during normal handling in the shipping process. The shipper is responsible for proper packaging, labeling, and providing accurate and complete information regarding the contents of the shipment.

We reserve the right to refuse, hold, or return any shipment that does not meet our packaging requirements or that contains prohibited items.

5. Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing. Delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, traffic, customs clearance, and recipient availability.

6. Tracking and Proof of Delivery

We provide tracking information for all shipments. Tracking information is available through our website, mobile application, or customer service. Proof of delivery is available upon request.

7. Liability for Loss or Damage

Our liability for loss or damage to shipments is limited to the declared value of the shipment or $100, whichever is less, unless additional insurance is purchased. We are not liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, profits, interest, or loss of market.

We are not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather conditions, mechanical delays, acts of public authorities, strikes, civil commotion, or acts or omissions of customs or quarantine officials.

8. Claims for Loss or Damage

Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 15 calendar days from the date of delivery for damage, or within 30 calendar days from the expected delivery date for loss. Claims must include the tracking number, a description of the loss or damage, and supporting documentation, such as photos of the damaged items and packaging, purchase invoices, or repair estimates.

9. Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from shipment through our services:

  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances
  • Firearms, ammunition, and weapons
  • Hazardous materials not properly declared and packaged
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Human remains
  • Live animals (except as permitted by our specialized shipping services)
  • Perishable goods not properly packaged
  • Cash, currency, and negotiable instruments

We reserve the right to refuse, return, or dispose of any shipment containing prohibited items, at our sole discretion and at your expense.

10. International Shipments

International shipments are subject to customs clearance and may incur additional fees, such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. The shipper is responsible for providing accurate and complete customs documentation. We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by customs or other regulatory agencies.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Travis County, Texas.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will provide notice through our Services or by other means. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
